PROFILE
Phil Wicks started Portack Computers in 1994 in London. Most of the work then was as a consultant analyst/programmer in the City, but Phil moved to Yealmpton in the South Hams area of Devon in 1998.
Phil has nearly 40 years experience in software development and has worked as a freelance consultant for the vast majority of that time, contracted either to consultancies and software houses or directly to end clients. As Portack Computers, Phil can offer services to small or medium size companies and to people running a main or secondary business from an office at home.
